The annual I.P. Kapoor Memorial Football Match between Springdales Pusa Road and Springdales Dhaula Kuan, was held at Pusa Road on Friday, 17th April 2026. The event is organised every year in fond memory of Shri I.P. Kapoor, the former physical education teacher of the Pusa Road branch, whose dedication to sports and student development continues to inspire generations. The event was attended by members and friends of the Kapoor family, Dr.Usha Ram, Manager, Springdales Pusa, members of the managing board and Old Springdalians Association.
Dr. Mala Gupta, Principal Springdales Pusa Road, welcomed the august gathering and and reminisced the close association between Shri I.P Kapoor and the school. She emphasized on both the teams displaying excellent sportsmanship, making the game a true celebration of friendly competition. It was a spirited and engaging contest, marked by enthusiastic participation, teamwork and a strong sense of camaraderie. Students cheered for their respective teams, creating an atmosphere of excitement and unity.

The semifinal against St. Xavier’s tested their endurance, but disciplined tactics and late-game resilience sealed the win. The grounds of Springdales School buzzed with excitement during a spirited cricket match between Team A and Team B on 4th October, 2025. In front of an enthusiastic audience of teachers and students, Team A, led by Gurmohit Singh, batted first and set a competitive target. However, Team B, under the sharp captaincy of Ayush Mishra, mounted a disciplined chase, securing victory through exceptional teamwork. While Team B celebrated their win, the mutual respect between the two teams truly captured the spirit of the game.
