DOE Zonal Table Tennis Championships

Springdales School, Pusa Road, recorded an impressive sporting success at the DOE Zonal Table Tennis Championships, held at Manavsthali School, Rajinder Nagar, from 28th to 30th July 2026, with its teams securing podium finishes across categories.

In the Boys Under-14 Championship, the dynamic team comprising Ivan Malhotra (IX-C), Achant Jain (VII-D), Abir Ahuja (VIII-D), and Naksh Sethi (VII-B) put up a commendable performance to secure the Second Position. Adding to the school's glory in the Girls Under-19 Championship, the trio of Avia Khandelwal (IX-D), Harnoor Kaur Chawla (IX-D), and Bhavya Mangla (IX-D) displayed exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship to win the Bronze Medal with a Third Position finish.

Spotify 2026 Interschool Chess Championship

Springdales School, Pusa Road, added another feather to its cap as Medhansh Khanna (XI-A), Aryan Bahl (XI-A), Devansh Kumar (XI-D), and Aneesh Jain (VIII-C) delivered an outstanding performance to clinch First Position at the Spotify 2026 Interschool Chess Championship. The prestigious tournament was held at Manavsthali School, Rajendra Nagar, on 25 July 2026. Demonstrating exceptional strategic thinking, concentration, and teamwork, the young chess players remained unbeaten throughout the championship, emerging as worthy winners. DOE Zonal Football Championship

The Directorate of Education (DOE) Zonal Football Championship, held from 23rd to 25th July at Springdales School, Pusa Road, was a celebration of sporting excellence and determination. The host school’s students delivered an exceptional performance, achieving remarkable success across all three age categories and bringing immense pride to the institution.

The Under-19 (Senior Boys) team demonstrated outstanding teamwork, skill, and perseverance to emerge as Zonal Champions, securing the coveted Gold Medal. Their disciplined play and strategic execution set a high standard for the tournament.

Equally impressive was the Under-17 (Junior Boys) team, whose commanding performance and consistent dominance throughout the matches earned them the Gold Medal in their category. Their victory reflected both technical ability and a strong competitive spirit.

Adding to the school’s triumphs, the Under-14 (Sub-Junior Boys) team showcased remarkable talent and resilience. Despite facing tough competition, they fought valiantly to finish as Runners-up, proudly securing the Silver Medal.

Anvi Kaur Johar (XI-D) and Sanchi (XI-B) showcased exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament to secure First Position and win the Gold Medal. Facing formidable opponents across all rounds, the duo dominated the court with agile footwork, powerful smashes, and seamless communication. Their relentless focus during high-stakes rallies consistently outmaneuvered the competition, making their path to the top of the podium a thrilling display of athleticism. The Spotify 2026 Golf Championship

Springdales School, Pusa Road, extends its heartiest congratulations to Tarini Lalwani of Class VII-D for achieving the first position at the Spotify 2026 Golf Championship, hosted by Manavsthali School, Rajendra Nagar, on 21 July 2026.

Springdales School, Pusa Road, recorded an outstanding campaign at the DOE Zonal Chess Championship held at GGSSS, Karol Bagh, on 20th July 2026, with both the Under-14 and Under-17 Girls' Chess Teams putting up stellar performances.

Leading the triumph of the day, the Under-14 Girls' Chess Team—comprising Pakhi Garg (VI-D), Himaya Chhugani (VI-B), and Mishika Singhal (VIII-C)—delivered an exceptional performance to secure First Position and win the Gold Medal. Demonstrating remarkable strategic thinking, skill, and determination, their championship victory stands as a testament to their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

Adding to the school's success on the board, the Under-17 Girls' Chess Team also put up an impressive performance throughout the competition. Represented by Raghavi Aggarwal (VIII-C), Peehu (X-C), Samaira Jain (X-B), and Tiana Jain (VI-A), the team displayed excellent tactical skills, high-level concentration, and commendable teamwork across all rounds.

The S.P. Kundu Inter-School Football Tournament

The football team of Springdales School, Pusa Road, delivered an impressive performance at the S.P. Kundu Inter-School Football Tournament, held at Vinay Nagar Senior Secondary School, Safdarjung Enclave, from 13 to 18 July 2026, securing second place overall.

The team comprised Arjun Singh (XII-A), Ayaan Banerjee (XII-C), Devansh Gupta (XII-D), Pragya Sharma (XI-A), Aneb Baba (X-A), Ashvik Bhatia (XI-D), Vishrut Singh (X-C), Daivik Garg (X-D), Rudra Shah (XII-B), Viraj Dobriyal (XI-A), and Shaurya Agarwal (X-D). DOE Zonal Chess Championship

Springdales School, Pusa Road, celebrated a magnificent double victory at the DOE Zonal Chess Championship, held at Bhai Joga Singh School on 14th July 2026. Both the Under-14 and Under-17 Boys' Chess Teams showcased supreme tactical brilliance, intense concentration, and seamless teamwork, outperforming strong competition across age divisions to secure First Position and bring home Gold Medals.

In the Under-14 category, the victorious squad was led by Vihan Grover (Class VIII-A), Samarth Batra (Class VII-D), Advait Mishra (Class VII-A), Reyansh Gupta (Class VII-A), and Aarav Agnihotri (Class VIII-E). Demonstrating exceptional strategic depth and poise, the young players dominated their matches to comfortably claim the zonal championship title.

Matching their junior peers board for board, the Under-17 Boys' Team also dominated their category. The formidable quartet of Idhant Verma (Class XI-D), Medhansh Khanna (Class XI-A), Aryan Behl (Class XI-A), and Devansh Kumar (Class XI-D) delivered masterclass performances under pressure to capture top honors on the podium.
